This workshop has been designed to facilitate participants in
gaining an understanding of the nature of stress, optimum levels
and sources of stress as well as ensuring a proactive approach
to effective management of the areas of stress in our lives.
During this workshop participants
will:
Identify the main sources of stress in
their lives
Learn how they currently cope with the
stress they experience
Gain a comprehensive insight into effective
lifestyle management
Practise the skill of progressive relaxation
Action plan on how they personally will
tackle areas of stress
Understand how they can help both themselves
and others in regard to addressing stress issues
The programme is run over one day. This
facilitates skills acquisition and significantly greater personal
insights. The course content comprises self-assessment questionnaires,
group discussions, individual exercises and team work. It is
highly interactive, open and learning orientated. The materials
are comprehensive, re-usable and include questionnaires, self-report
measures, text and tape.
