Module I
During the first module (organising project elements), participants work on the concept of project management. They will learn how to define, scope and organise the project and to work to develop a list of project plans.

Key elements of this module include:

  • Project Management principles


  • Generating data, the assumptions and facts list


  • How to develop a work breakdown structure

Module II focuses on the use of project management tools and worksheets and concentrates on the scheduling of project components. This focuses on learning about the interrelationships between the components and how to schedule all factors involved. The tools in this unit allow participants to create linkage between tasks and to display these relationships in meaningful ways.

Key elements in this module include:

  • Generating the schedule

  • Creating a network diagram


  • Creating a gantt chart


  • Developing a risk assessment strategy

Module III of this workshop includes:

  • Effective problem analysis


  • Carrying out a risk assessment strategy


  • Reviewing the project management plan

  • Project implementation

  • Project outcome report

  • Presentation skills
